Siddharth Ashokkumar

Siddharth Ashokkumar is an accomplished Carnatic violinist for the last 20 years. He has been learning from Sri Vittal Ramamurthy and more recently, from maestro Lalgudi Sri G.J.R. Krishnan of the Lalgudi Bani. Having performed across US, India, and Canada, Siddharth is a sought-after soloist and an accompanist for young talent as well as senior musicians from India. Notable performances include playing for US tours for Sri Suryaprakash and Smt. C. Sukanya (daughter of DK Jayaraman). Siddharth is the recipient of many awards from North American music festivals and competitions and has had the privilege of performing in the Chennai December Season. Siddharth currently lives in the West Village in New York City.
