Tali Rubinstein
Tali Rubinstein is an LA based recorder player and composer, who graduated with honors from Berklee College in Boston (on a full scholarship) as their first ever recorder player. As a ground-breaking musician who introduced the recorder into jazz and contemporary music, Tali has established her own unique style and personal expression, and is nowadays considered one of the most influential recorder players in the world, specializing in jazz, classical, world and pop music. Tali participated as a composer and a recording artist in the Grammy Award winning album Entre 20 Aguas (by Javier Limón), as well as in the Grammy nominated album Mutt Slang II (by Alain Mallet), and was mentioned in Barack Obama's Favorite Songs of 2018 list. Tali has collaborated with world-renowned musicians such as Javier Limón, Alejandro Sanz, Mariza, Anat Cohen, Jamey Haddad, La Mala Rodriguez, Tomatito, Idan Raichel, David Broza and Paco De Lucia’s original band. Her online jazz recordings have gained immense popularity through millions of views, as well as a wide recognition among the global music community. Tali performed at The Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, The Soraya, The Blue Note, and Birdland Jazz Club to name a few venues, and toured in over 15 countries as a band leader. She performed as a soloist with the Israeli Andalusian Orchestra, the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, and the Manila Symphony Orchestra, and recorded for Univision and Nickelodeon TV.
